Antique Petite French Glazed Yellow Confit Pot
A lovely 19th century petite French confit pot with yellow glaze from the South of France, Castelnaudary. This pot or planter is hand thrown with charming handles known as 'ears'. These jars were used for storing and preserving cooked meat. This one is a rare petite size at 6.6"H and would look fabulous in a grouping with other confit pots of various sizes.
