A superb antique 18th-Century Dutch Delft faience peacock bird charger by De Klaauw (The Claw) Delftware factory, circa 1780. Signed on reverse. This exquisite large charger has a hand painted crane, insects, feathers, fruit, and floral designs in cobalt blue and white with a lovely scalloped rim. It's in beautiful antique condition with colors that are still amazingly vibrant and fresh, fabulous added to a collection or displayed on its own.
